A Town-Wide Adventure for One and All 〰️

❊ What is The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt?

The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt is a town-wide adventure guided by thoughtfully crafted clues. Designed for all Perrysburg residents — family, friends, and explorers of all ages — the Hunt leads participants through Perrysburg to uncover local history, familiar landmarks, and hidden details, while enjoying the thrill of discovery along the way.

Hunt Dates

May 22, 2026 - August 10, 2026

Participants may begin and complete the Hunt at any time during this window.

Registration

In order to participate in The Hunt, you must register. Early online registration is strongly encouraged and allows you to sign up in advance of The Hunt.

The price of registration is $5 per participant or group.

Once the Hunt begins on May 22, and throughout the duration of the Hunt, participants may also register in person at select locations (listed here).

How it Works ▸

Prizes

All prizes will be awarded at our end-of-summer celebration on Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 PM on the Commodore Building Lawn, where we will gather to announce the Grand Prize winner, second and third place finishers, and celebrate all those who uncover the treasure. Both Stage One and Treasure Finder prize drawings will take place at that time as well.

Treasure Hunter T-Shirts

While the top 25 Treasure Finders earned exclusive turquoise blue "I Found the Treasure" T-shirts, and that same design is available for purchase in white to anyone who finds the treasure, the design shown above is available to all Treasure Hunt participants, whether or not they reached the treasure.

These T-shirts are available in white and royal blue, in both adult and youth sizes.

The price for T-shirts is $20 for adults and $18 for youth.

Our t-shirts are produced by Blink Marketing Logistics, a wonderful Perrysburg printing company that has played a huge role in bringing the Hunt to life. We have them to thank for all of the beautiful signs, puzzles, ciphers, and so many of the other clues that have made this adventure possible.

Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt Commemorative Coins

These beautiful mementos are made by local artist and fellow Treasure Hunter Chris Munson of CM Designs.

Each coin is 40 mm in diameter and 3 mm thick. Solid brass coins are priced at $30 and stainless steel, $60.

What’s more, Chris has generously donated 20 of these coins to raffle off at our End-of-Summer Celebration, 10 exclusively for Treasure Finders and 10 open to all Treasure Hunters!

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Families or groups are welcome to participate under a single registration
However, each registration includes just one set of Hunt materials and collectible clues. And any commemorative rewards, prize drawing entries, or recognition associated with participation are awarded per entry, not per individual.
For the best experience, we recommend one entry for each Hunter, especially for children.
We strive to make the Hunt as inclusive as possible. If you have mobility or accessibility concerns, please contact perrysburgtreasurehunt@gmail.com in advance so we can explore possible accommodations.
