❊ What is The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt?

The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt is a town-wide adventure guided by thoughtfully crafted clues. Designed for all Perrysburg residents — family, friends, and explorers of all ages — the Hunt leads participants through Perrysburg to uncover local history, familiar landmarks, and hidden details, while enjoying the thrill of discovery along the way.

Hunt Dates

May 22, 2026 - August 10, 2026

Participants may begin and complete the Hunt at any time during this window.

Registration

In order to participate in The Hunt, you must register. Early online registration is strongly encouraged and allows you to sign up in advance of The Hunt.

The price of registration is $5 per participant or group through April 30.

Registration after that date will be increased to $15.

Once the Hunt begins on May 22, and throughout the duration of the Hunt, participants may also register in person at select Perrysburg locations (listed here).

Prizes

The Great Perrysburg Treasure Hunt celebrates creativity, persistence, and discovery. Enjoy the adventure at any level and earn prizes and recognition if you complete the challenge.

    • A $1,500 Grand Prize package

    • Additional prizes and recognition

    • A $1,000 Second Place package

    • Additional prizes and recognition

    • A $500 Third Place package

    • Additional prizes and recognition

    • The first 25 participants or groups to successfully reach the treasure will receive a commemorative “I found the treasure” T-shirt

    • All participants who find the treasure will receive a commemorative reward marking their completion of the hunt

    • During Stage One, there are multiple opportunities to earn token participation rewards and entries to prize drawings along the way.

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

  • Families or groups are welcome to participate under a single registration

    However, each registration includes just one set of Hunt materials and collectible clues. And any commemorative rewards, prize drawing entries, or recognition associated with participation are awarded per entry, not per individual.

    For the best experience, we recommend one entry for each Hunter, especially for children.

  • We strive to make the Hunt as inclusive as possible. If you have mobility or accessibility concerns, please contact perrysburgtreasurehunt@gmail.com in advance so we can explore possible accommodations.

  • We want the Hunt to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, please contact perrysburgtreasurehunt@gmail.com to discuss options so participation remains accessible.
